About the Sponsor
Kiwanis Club of Northshore opened its Foundation account in 1986 and has since provided two scholarships, one annually at Inglemoor as a memorial in recognition of the service of Inglemoor principal Si Siverson and one at Bothell in recognition of the service at Inglemoor and Bothell of retired principal Al Haynes. Again this year, the club recognizes Dick Ramsey (above), a club charter member and a past president of Scholarship Foundation of Northshore. Three of the Ramsey children are graduates of Inglemoor High School. In the 1970s, the Kiwanis Club sponsored an annual Spaghetti Feed the night of the Inglemoor-Bothell high school football game at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell. Among Kiwanians serving were C.P. Johnson and Northshore Schools superintendent Dr. Frank Love. Memorial scholarships for each educator were established previously in the Foundation.
